Why we don't notice it

The most powerful thing about the Matrix is not control, fear, or money.
It is normality.

Normality is the veil that covers everything.
What everyone does goes unquestioned.
What everyone believes feels true.
What is "normal" seems to have no alternative, even when it feels empty, restrictive or contradictory within.

People adapt before they reflect.
Not out of weakness, but out of a survival instinct.
Belonging was once essential to survival. Being excluded meant danger. This ancient programme still operates today, subtly but effectively. It keeps you quiet, compliant, sensible. And that is precisely why you often fail to notice that you live in a system that limits you.

The veil of normality works through habituation rather than coercion.
You get used to things that are actually unnatural:
– a life of constantly running short of time
– work without meaning
– Relationships without depth
– constant distraction
– underlying fear

Because everyone experiences it this way, it feels right.
But frequency is no proof of truth.

Normality numbs awareness.
It whispers: "That is just how life is."
And every time you accept this sentence, you give up a piece of your inner truth.

The veil also works through language:
“Be realistic.”
"That is simply not possible."
“Do not dream.”
These phrases seem unremarkable, yet they are highly effective.
They do not prevent your survival, but your awakening.

Why do we not notice it?
Because the veil is not dark, but comfortable.
It offers orientation, belonging, and explanations.
But it takes something far more valuable from you:
contact with your inner truth.

Awakening rarely begins with a big bang.
It usually begins with a quiet sense of unease.
With the feeling: "Something is wrong, even though everything is normal."
This moment is sacred.
Because this is where the veil begins to tear.

Once you recognize normality as a construct, it loses its power.
You do not have to fight anything.
You only need to feel, see, and remember again.

The new world does not begin where everything looks different.
It begins where you stop believing that there is no alternative to the old ways.

FiYoWa reminds you that normality is no measure of truth, but often just the veil that keeps you from remembering.
